When a leadership team is capable but stuck: accountability stalling, growth outpacing structure, or a founder-led business straining under its own success, the fix rarely lives at the skills level. Cheryl works one layer down, at how leaders think and what’s actually driving the gap between what an organisation intends and what happens on the ground.
She’s a Fractional Chief Learning Officer and coach with over 20 years across South Africa, the UK, UAE, KSA, Europe and Namibia, working with founder-led businesses, JSE-listed companies, NGOs, multinationals and government. Her practice combines Integral and Developmental coaching, attending to the whole person while building a leader’s capacity to handle complexity, not just their skillset. She’s a Leadership Maturity Level 2 practitioner and Leadership Maturity.ai Coaching Partner, and her Leadership Personas and Team Charters work has become her signature way of turning individual coaching into shared team standards.
Before moving into this work, she ran operations herself. As Director of Operations at TTRO, she grew the team from 30 to 80 people in three years while restructuring the business end to end: a new operating structure, a redesigned Solutions Management Office, a project management system built from scratch, an HR function stood up, and the whole operation moved to remote in 2020. She’s not theorising about complexity. She’s run it.
Cheryl doesn’t do quick fixes or validation exercises. If your leadership team needs to get honest with each other, she’s the person who’ll make that happen, and stay long enough to see it stick.
