High-pressure, high-performance environments where complexity needs untangling fast, capital risk needs managing, or leaders need a genuine sparring partner: that’s where Jamie operates best, moving quickly and staying decisive when the stakes are highest.
He’s a Fractional CEO based in Paarl with 20+ years of experience across South Africa, EMEA, Russia, the US and parts of South America, working across startups, special purpose vehicles, listed corporates and turnaround situations. His background spans marine services, financial services and audit, tender and contracting, transport technology, automotive, and M&A. He operates comfortably as CEO, COO or CFO depending on what a business needs, using EOS and ScaleUp methodologies as working tools rather than fixed doctrine, and he’s a member of the Young Presidents Organisation and Intelligent Transport Solutions South Africa.
His track record is substantial. He was business architect and tender lead for the largest open road tolling project in the world in 2010, a contract with a present value of roughly R20 billion. He co-founded and built getWorth, an AI-driven used car and data business, to around R700 million in revenue before its exit to a listed group in 2024. And he led the turnaround of a toll operations company, moving it to profitability within three years, significantly reducing contract risk, and securing a R500 million cash turn.
Jamie works best where agility is real and decisions get made quickly, not debated indefinitely. He’s spent two decades in exactly those rooms.
