Young companies often outgrow their founder’s ability to manage and control everything alone, long before the founder notices it happening. Lisa is the classic integrator who steps in at that point, converting promising but constrained organisations into profitable, well-functioning businesses with the systems and team alignment to scale.

She’s a Fractional COO based in Cape Town with 20+ years of experience across South Africa, the UK and Denmark, working predominantly with tech companies, startups and solar businesses, alongside experience in healthcare and banking. She acts as the right hand to the founder, converting novel concepts into executed business capability, building highly skilled and empowered teams, and mentoring executive teams to work as one aligned, effective unit. She’s founded four companies herself and is a member of The Lekker Network.

She joined Sun Exchange as a co-founder as it entered the Techstars accelerator, and spent the next 10 years growing the company to cover 180 countries and deliver over 100 solar plants. It’s her most significant and relevant experience, and the clearest evidence of what she does: taking something new and unproven and building it into something that actually runs at scale.

Lisa works best with growth-stage founders who need the glue that holds an executive group together. She’s practical and delivery-focused, and she’d rather build the systems and teams that build the business than talk about either in the abstract.
