She’s a Fractional CHRO based in Johannesburg with 15 to 20 years of experience across South Africa, the UK, APAC, the Middle East, Nigeria and Kenya, working across telco, automotive, IT, digital marketing and advertising, and financial services. Her approach starts with diagnosing gaps in people and process execution, then builds capability from learner to leader, covering HR business analysis, HR structure and labour compliance, and BBBEE and HR transformation through employment equity and skills development initiatives. She’s a member of APSO.

As Head of Transformation Africa at Publicis Groupe, she led a DEI initiative reaching 88,000 employees across the EMEA and UK regions, focused on supporting new mothers, LGBTQIA initiatives and fair pay. In the same role, she implemented Publicis’s first Management for Creatives initiative for South African learners with neurodivergence, a programme built specifically for people the standard system wasn’t designed to include.

Muneerah works best with businesses open to bringing in real HR technology and structure, not just papering over the compliance gaps. Her belief is straightforward: HR should be a business enabler, balancing compliance and performance with genuine opportunities for people to grow.
